Pasta Jambalaya
This is a dish that I created in the kitchen at DeAngelo's back when Mike owned the Prairieville location. Before we had kids, I would come home from teaching school, then go to DeAngelo's to help Mike. We got tired of eating the same thing, so I would go to the kitchen and create different dishes. This one was the best! (and the staff thought so too) This pasta dish is a great blend of grilled chicken, smoked sausage, and tasso sauteed with onions, red and green bell peppers, and garlic in a creamy sauce. The main seasoning is Panola Gourmet sauce. Don't tell my Daddy (or husband), but once I ran out of the Gourmet sauce, so I just made it without the Panola sauce, thinking it would be fine. It wasn't! The Panola Gourmet is the secret ingredient that really makes you say "Umm, that is so good. What has she put in this?" $24.00

Potato Soup
Fall is finally here! The days are getting shorter and the air is getting cooler, so warm up with a great bowl of potato soup. As I am sure you know, potato soup is a great healing soup. So for any of you that have family members with the flu, (or anything else) serve them some potato soup and watch the color come back to their cheeks. This soup can also be fun for the children. Put out sour cream, chives, bacon bits, and cheese, and let the kids fix their own bowl. The Panola Spicy Sweet Jalapenos is also another great topping. Try it - I think you will really like it. $12/quart

Chili
I had a special request for this one. It is also a great fall/winter dish. My family loves it! Mike will make himself sick eating it. He likes to eat it 3 different ways. His first bowl is with Fritos, cheese, and sliced onions. The second bowl is with saltine crackers and jalapenos, and the third is over rice. Try one of his bowls or your own. Any way you have your chili, it will be delicious. I can make it with or without beans, so let me know your preference. Leftovers are great for making chili cheese dogs! $15/quart
