September 1st Delivery

I hope you all had a great summer. I did, but it was a busy one.

As some of you already know, I have moved. My family and I moved to Lake Providence, LA. Lake Providence is a small town in Northeast Louisiana. I grew up in Lake Providence and my family still lives here. My Father owns a hot sauce company, Panola Pepper Corp. After about 10 years of begging my husband to take over the family business, Mike and I finally agreed. So, now you know my secret ingredient - Panola Products - it makes all my dishes taste so good.

I miss cooking for you all and would love the opportunity to continue. Since I no longer live in Baton Rouge, I will not personally deliver your meals. I am going to make ordering and receiving your meals even easier. You can simply place your order by email, I will call you to process payment via credit card and your meals will be delivered via UPS to your door step. I will pack everything in coolers with dry ice. It should be very easy now, no more ice chest and checks left out by the door.

BBQ Brisket

I season and marinate the brisket overnight. Brown it over a hot flame to sear in all the flavors. The brisket is then slow cooked in the remaining marinade on the bbq pit. It is so tender and delicious. This is my son, Carter's, favorite kind of sandwich. When I cook a brisket, we eat it for several days, several different ways.

Dirty Rice Dressing

I use a combination of ground beef and ground pork sauteed with the Louisiana trinity and then mixed with Panola Popcorn Rice. If you haven't eaten Popcorn rice (aromatic rice), then you are missing out. Once you eat aromatic long grain fluffy rice, you will love it.
